hotel indigo, durham
client: brims construction
architect: howarth litchfield
brief
Brims Construction had transformed this 120 year old building that was formerly the home of Durham County Council. I was briefed to capture images of progress work during construction works and the fully refurbished building on completion.

execution
The creative photography recorded progress as the construction team strived to retain and restore the richly ornate interior. I was able to capture images as they unearthed, retained and renovated interesting features. I visited the site over a number of weeks and months as the building was transformed.
outcome
As well as progress photographs I documented the fully refurbished spaces showing the retained architectural features alongside the modern interior design.

feedback
“Really easy to deal with, have used Andrew since we started Brims. It’s at the stage now, where we don’t need to visit jobs very often with him, he knows what we want and need and we just need to tell him where to turn up and he sorts it for us”.
